Biodiesels

The emission factor is a country-specific (landenspecifiek) value and the net calorific value behind its energy denominator is a country-specific (landenspecifiek) value. The net calorific value and/or the emission factor of this fuel is updated annually. The values for the years that are not yet known are set equal to the most recent known year and may change in a later edition of the list. Biomass reporting rules apply: under the Climate Convention these emissions are reported as a memo item using the factors given here and do not count towards the national greenhouse-gas total, and under the EU ETS a zero rating may apply to the combustion of biomass under certain conditions.
