Valid for combusted natural gas. The combustion emissions of natural gas are fairly constant, but the upstream emissions are variable. If unburned methane leaks away, this also contributes to the greenhouse effect (fossil methane has a GWP of 29.8, biogenic 27, see the other emissions heading).
